Effective immediately any person, excluding Low Voltage Technicians, referred by Local 22 will be required to get a State of Nebraska and/or a State of Iowa Apprenticeship card. This applies only to those who do not hold a current State of Nebraska or State of Iowa Journeyman license. The Application form shall be filled out and the application fee paid before a referral will be made. Local 22 will mail the application for the applicant.

This is being provided as a service to the applicant to ensure that proper registration with the State of Nebraska and the State of Iowa has been completed. This is also being done to avoid any future embarrassment for the applicant or the Local Union in regard to State of Nebraska and the State of Iowa licensing laws. If not properly registered, any electrical worker can be removed from a project by the Authority having jurisdiction.
